UFC 87 Video: Dana White’s Video Blog Part 4

Below is part four of Dana White’s UFC 87 video blog which details the UFC 87 press conference from yesterday at the Mall of America, more antics with Rampage Jackson, and a short glimpse of Lorenzo Fertitta working out with Mark Dellagrotte. Oh, and at the end, Dana takes a parting shot at Tito Ortiz.

I would have to be Tito Ortiz to lose this thing? Man, Dana White never misses a change to take a poke at Tito, gotta love it.

Looks to me as if White is keeping Rampage close, ensuring that he’s eating and sleeping. I’m sure that some people will say it’s cynical self interest, but IMO White’s trying to look out for a guy whom he treats as a friend, and I give him respect for that.

These video blogs are the best thing to happen to Dana White and the UFC.

It humanzies the guy and doesn’t make the UFC look like the Microsoft of MMA. I’m impressed at how honest these videos are.

Makea I agree, I almost find myself liking Dana White. As for Rampage it is good to see him better but I really wish he was a bit more humble. He doesn’t come across as a man who has taken responsibility for what he has done.

Dana is showing us that he’s a real person. I can’t believe how much I like this video blog series they are doing.

I agree about the Rampage comments above… just say into the camera, “I f-ed up, I’m back on track, and i’ll pay my dues for f-ing up”

I love these video blogs, I have always liked Dana, this makes me like him even more. I know all of the dumbasses out there hate that Dana is trying to run MMA and make UFC the only thing out there, well you know what, why shouldnt he. Its his fucking job. Not yours. The guy is a great business man. Use talent while you can, once you have no use for them, move on. Ever heard of the NFL? They do the same damn thing. And they are the most popular sport in the world. Anyone see Rampage warming up? Think Dellagrotte might be his new trainer?

My favorite part was when someone’s (Rampage’s maybe?) phone rang near the beginning and the ringtone was the Pixies “Where Is My Mind?”.
