I like this kid because he’s smart. When asked about UFC, which cut him, and Dana White, he didn’t run them down. That’s good business. Sure he didn’t like it, but what’s the point of talking trash in public? Someday he might want to fight in the UFC again, or the UFC might want him back. Mouthing off complicates that, because White and the UFC would look weak for negotiating with him after he criticized them. Why would White or UFC want to lose face over one fighter? New talent comes along every day, and they can afford to wait. On the other hand, he acted like a professional and a gentleman, and that makes people want to do business with him. Guys like Tito, and to some extent Couture, need to learn this.

Totally laughable. The only ranked fighter of the bunch is Lawler.

He’s not going to last much longer as middleweight champ. I think Shamrock could be next on a CBS card. They need to get Shamrock on one of those shows. Lawler has been on there twice and who else better to match him up with then Shamrock. He would sell the shit out of that fight and make it huge. Then whip Lawlers ass and take his belt. They could potentially put on better Middleweight fights then the UFC can at this point (Cung Le, Rua Villasenor, Lawler Shamrock). And would love to see it.
