There wasn't any fight that was televised that I can complain about. Starters Jon Fitch was a warrior. He'll be back he pushed Gsp further than anyone ever has. Gsp is on another level he dominated that fight for 5 rounds. Lesnar has just elevated the Ufc Heavyweight division a couple notches. He totally brutalized Herring for 3 rounds. At one point I thought someone should call Defax because that looked like child abuse. He was most impressive. Kenny Florian showed Huerta where his game most go and improve to be mention with the greats. He looks like a viable contender for the title. Big-upps to Rob Emerson, I thought he was on a one-way ticket to the Wec or another promotion when I saw the matchup. He straight blew Manny's ass up. Can't forget that left hook that put him on ice. Fitch has the heart of a warrior and I honestly friggin wept when GSP bowed down on his knees to Fitch after the fight and the met at ring center.. quite a contrast to Lesner's totally classless lasso routine and Barnett's ridiculous and classless Snoop Dog 'fo shizzle' wigga speak after his Affliction last fight. GSP will be the number one MMA box draw for the next 5 years. That dude is the complete package. I feel Fitch is a lot like Ace... whaddaya do? move up to A Silva? He's just gonna be a damn good number 2 for a lot of years. Brock is reason #1 Dana could care less about Affliction's very likely short run with Fedor...Shane Carwin and Cain Velasquez are reasons number 2 and 3. And Frank Mir (in shape mentally and physically) is reason #4. Fedor will have to eventually meet some younger guys with serious game if he wants to keep the rep or again be labeled a runner. Throw in Randy (assuming he continues to get beat down i the courts) and Nog and maybe even Anderson Silva and he will have nowhere to go after his next and likely last Affliction fight...expect squaring off against a vapid Tito. Florian impressed ... Huerta did not show any special skill other than heart and an ability to throw 10 non-landing superman punches per round (but then again, Forrest Griffin doesn't really have a killer skill, so who knows?). Kongo did what was expected. Maia is a true and viable contender and eventually to get KTFO against The Spider.
