i think maia and mcdonald was fight of the night. that was back and forth. GSP dominated fitch, not worth of fight of the night.

  2. Kris says:

IMO I think K-Flo vs El Matador should’ve been Fight of the Night.

  3. Stephane says:

Maia dominated McDonald too, but the main difference, Jon Fitch avoiding the stoppage numeral time and during the full 25 minutes did the difference

$60K bonuses. The PPV buy numbers must be huge.

Bonuses are generally based on the gate receipts, not PPV numbers, since they wouldn’t have any PPV numbers at all until a couple days after the show.

I think McDonald should get a bonus for escape of the night for getting out of that triangle choke!!!!

Macdonald was very impressive even in defeat. Getting out of that first triangle was nicely done. No matter how good Maia’s BJJ is, Anderson Silva would mess him up quick.

Manny definitely needs to look at heading to the WEC to fight at 145lbs. He’s going nowhere at 155 in the UFC and if he could get a win or two at featherweight they could set him up against Uriah for a great fight.

Oh yeah, Jon Fitch may be the toughest man in the UFC! I’ve never seen somebody take a beating like that and keep recovering and coming back. The most impressive defeat I’ve ever seen.
