thanks guys. more than anything, i am looking for some change. i can’t afford to fall into any more of bad patterns in my career. somthing drastic like this will hopefully keep me on my toes. its new competition and the chance of facing someone i have before is very slim to none. i think that Torres has the best record out of all WEC and UFC champs and i plan on a tango with him eventually. We are friends and makes for a huge fight for Chicago and the entire division… i hope to impress everyone with this move and show the best of me yet!!!

He can easily make this. I talked to him at an afterparty post WEC 34 and he said that he felt 135 was the place for him and he could make it without too much of a struggle. He felt he was getting outmuscled by guys cutting from around 160, *cough Mike Brown working the pass’n'pray + hammerfists*, and now that there was a place where he could fight his natural weight he was gonna give it a shot.

He’ll definitely give Torres even more competition, but I don’t think it’ll help. Best of luck. That’s a lot of dropping he’s done.

I think that this is a great move on Jeff’s part; I think he can really do some damage in the bantamweight division!!!

I train at Jeff’s facility and it is absolutly huge; he really pulled out all the stops and made this such an amazing place to train and learn from the best.
