People still care about Phil Baroni? I think the show he put on with the chicks in NY Yankees gear while he was walking to the ring at Elite XC was far more interesting than his actual fight.

Still perhaps the dumbest fighter in MMA that we actually see fighting at his level. Sure the guy is tough, but the gap betewen his ears is indeed sizeable.

ya, i’m just waiting for Alfonso to turn into the first in-ring casualty.. and Baroni definitely has the power to make that happen..

this is going to be brutal..
i’ll give Alfonso no more than 30-45 seconds before he’s on a stretcher and the EMT’s are looking for his jaw in the crowd…

i am tired of hearing phil baronis name. does he fight like every other weekend. he gets more publicity than any other 500 fighter i know. get a hair cut or change something so maybe it wont be so bad. MAN!

Olaf may be a PRIDE veteran, but that included only one fight, and a quick knockout from the hands of Mach Sakurai. He’s more of a PFC/WEC veteran who is always entertaining, but a knockout waiting to happen. Ordinarily he fights at Lightweight, so this won’t help.

This fight was actually announced more than a month ago.
