that is why you have to like the guy he is the best fighter in the world and is such a nice guy.
as far as dana white, i am so sick of this guy. his comments are why i say that he is bad for MMA.
he is mad that he has no HW only prospects and that doesn’t mean shit right now.
    have some respect!!

Successful promoters & millionaires don’t usually care about what people on the internet think. He never says this stuff on national tv, just to the hardcore fans. i think he does it to get a rise out of you and enjoy it when he’s browsing the web

You know it’s refreshing to see someone not respond to negativity with negativity for a change! Fedor is a class act and will do more for this sport than some people think. As for him fighting the Human Growth Hormone experiment, he needs about 200 more fights to be in the same league as
Fedor. His strength won’t stop a real mma fighter as Mr. Mir proved so aptlly.

I don’t think any self respecting MMA fan could have a bad word to say about Fedor apart from maybe him not competing regularly enough against the cream of the crop. But in many cases the choice of opponent has been out of his hands and everytime he has faced a legit top ten guy he has won CLEARLY. The man is class personified and a superb ambassador for the sport. As for Dana white, I just don’t like the guy. Let the fighters get the limelight/headlines. Zuffa/Fertittas/Dana have done a lot for the progress of the sport but this does not excuse some of the unsavoury behaviour of Dana in many cases. I will always back a fighter over a guy in a suit. I include Tito in this even though he’s a dick aswell.

I was initially very skeptical about Brock Lesnar, and that was half confirmed by the Mir fight, but after seeing him dismantle Herring it’s obvious he has a future in the sport. If he rolls through a couple more high level guys than a match up with Fedor will start to look like a real possibility. I wish Fedor would make a deal with the UFC. Dana should just give him the best contract ever and than have the best HW and perhaps the best fighter in the world in the UFC.

Fedor/Brock is one I’d love to see. Of course Fedor beats him, Fedor beats everyone, but it would be a worthy challenge. I don’t think Randy will be able to beat Brock if he gets any more skilled. Randy is limited by not having much in the way of subs. The guys that are going to be Brock’s achilles heel are the submission experts: Nog, Mir, Fedor.

The fact that Fedor has dynamite in his fists and is one of the smartest, most chill under pressure fighters of all time only adds to his considerable advantage over Brock. But if Brock keeps winning and maybe even gets a little cocky how great would it be for Fedor to step in and show him what real class is.

I’d love to watch Fedor fight anyone. Brock would be a great challenge for him, or anyone really.
Huge, fast strong, smart guys are always a great experiment to throw at anyone.

If Brock Lesner becomes the HW champ, why would anyone think the UFC would let him go and fight Fedor?

  9. Revjames13 on August 13th, 2008 3:54 pm

The UFC needs to sign Fedor by any means necessary.

    @ Nate about Brock Lesnar:

“Huge, fast strong, smart guys are always a great experiment to throw at anyone.”

Who are you referring to? Lesnar is huge, fast & strong, yes. But smart?!?!?!? Ummm, me thinks not…

Frank Mir is smart. Randy Couture is smart. Lesnar, on the other hand…

He has a bright future in MMA, though. He would also look decent against Fedor, until Fedor breaks his arm…
