I think we will see two upsets this time around evans and hamill get the win.
Really? Your taking Evans AND Hamill? wow.
As an old school fan I think I’m kinda jaded against the TUF fighters, I guess I shouldn’t be so hard on them but I still find it hard to think of them as anything but contest winners. No matter what they do after the show something in the back of my mind won’t let me think of them as legitimate contenders. I guess I need to get over that.
Is it just me or does Chuck look a little stoned in portions of the interview? I think the drugs and booze have finally caught up with him.
My picks:
Liddell - Ref Stoppage for Strikes in 2nd Round
Hamill - Unanimous Decision (Lay and Pray)
To be honest, I am not too excited for the Atlanta card. No title fights. Rashad Evans just does not get me stirred for a main event.
How telling is it that Chuck has said he should get a title shot should he win this because of his pay per view pull, commodity thinking can be detrimental to your performanc, ask Tito.
Atlanta card is strong. We have been spoiled by many strong PPV as of late. I do disagree with the UFC with watering down the sport and putting a show against each of their competitors. If I ran UFC I would do PPV every other month or every 3 and putting top flight fights on them for killer sales. Then sprinkle in some Fight Nights with some up and comers.
I don’t see Liddell losing, his sprawl will keep this mostly on the feet, and there is no way he loses in the standup game. And he just beat Wanderlei Silva, and Evans will probably never be at that level.
Hamill has a great chance of winning against franklin, but somehow I just don’t think he will. Franklin has much better standup, and is one of the smartest fighters in the UFC. He will certainly have a powerful gameplan in this fight. Hamill has the definite edge in power, but he is no Anderson Silva, so he won’t be able to push Franklin around, either.
