HDNet Featured Fight: C.B. Dollaway vs. Hans Marrero
HDNet’s featured fight this week involves The Ultimate Fighter 8 finalist C.B. Dollaway (7-1) taking on jiu jitsu fighter Hans Marrero (11-6). Dollaway, a former wrestler at Arizona State University, trains out of Arizona Combat Sports with such notable fighters as TUF 8 teammate Matt Riddle as well as WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner.
This fight takes place before Dollaway was selected as a TUF 8 cast member and he shows some of his patented wrestling skills and improved standup game that you saw on the show. In fighting a talented jiu jitsu fighter like Hans Marrero, Dollaway wants to stay off the ground and stay on his feet during the duration of the fight. Will he be able to do that and knock Marrero out standing? Or will Hans Marrero lure him into fighting his style on the ground and submit Dollaway? Watch below to find out!

Urm, well, considering the video still shows Dollaway atop the ring with his arms raised and Marerro in the corner being restrained by an official…no mystery as to who won.

if you look at the replay, it doesn’t look like the knee connects. He appears to hit his upper arm or shoulder. Weird?

its funny when they do the slow-mo replay and the commentators have that sort of oh crap the knee didnt connect at all, also when Dolloway is raining down punches it looks as though Hans spreads his hands out to look like he had been knocked out, soon as the ref starts to move he puts his hands back.
Also, isnt Dolloway 7-2? I thought the semi-final matches on TUF counted because they were 3 rounds?
