Denis Kang vs. Jae Young Kim at Spirit MC 18 (video)

September 1, 2008 by Adam Morgan

This fight took place this past weekend with Denis Kang getting back into the Spirit MC ring to face off against Jae Young Kim for the third time in his career. Kang was looking to get back on track in his MMA career after two consecutive losses and beating up on Kim for a third time was probably just what he needed. Check out the fight below.

Wow, Kang is great….he beat up a no-name overweight Korean fighter.

Other than CroCop in the past year or so, I feel Denis Kang is one of the most talented fighters who just can’t seem to put together a winning streak of premium fights.

I like that little stomp to the face after the ref stopped the fight. He knew the fight was over and he stomps him in his face.

ya, that stomp at the end was pretty messed up..
you can’t pull that “you gotta go til the ref steps in” crap here, because, the ref did step in..

Wow, that was impressive! I’d love to see Kang fight stateside where he’d have to face fighters who are actually well conditioned and not literally shaped like tomato cans. Good job Kang. Way to defend that belt!

The stomp is in response to a frustrating career I believe.

    Not really that exciting.

What the #$%K? Last time I heard the name Kang I wanted the UFC to sign him. I never want to see this guy fight again. Barely beating up a can of refried tomatoes, ref stopping the fight, and then a foot stomp? Glad I will never be force fed one of his fights….five fight losing streak? Guess we know why. I hope his meets a similar defeat in his next fight…put him up against an superior athlete with a good chin and let the man stomp his head. I hope their is a regulatory body that fines this guy. Bum.
