Who cares where he’ll fight (read: lose) next?

  2. Nick Travaglini on September 3rd, 2008 3:13 pm

This is almost laughable. It is almost 100% that he is resigning with the UFC. I can’t see him signing with anyone else. Just a matter of how much longer he holds out. I would imagine he wants to make his own splash when he resigns, so he will wait for the Randy hype to die down. Maybe even wait till the Couture-Lesnar fight is over, then announce his resigning with the promotion.

  3. Kelvin on September 3rd, 2008 3:16 pm

Nick…I’d have to agree…he would be stupid to sign anywhere else besides the UFC.

WHO CARES please go away tit ortiz

  5. Smokes on September 3rd, 2008 3:31 pm

If he resigns with the UFC it better be for less than 200k a fight. Thats ridiculous pay for a guy who is no longer top 10 and on his way down

tito needs to come back to the ufc and end his feud with dana.

his best chances are there, and he needs to be cool with dana so that he doesnt get screwed over and fight pussies like machida who hit and run for 15 minutes.

tito lost a decision to machida before he even stepped in the octagon, if u couldnt predict that ur an idiot

  7. jj on September 3rd, 2008 3:34 pm

exactly what i was thinking: who cares?

when’s he’s signed with someone then that is news, but the 50+ speculation stories about cheato orcheeze’s options detailed it enough in the last month.

He needs to come back to the UFC . . .

. . . for a 1 fight contract and get KTFO in a long-awaited rematch with Wanderlei Silva.

  9. James on September 3rd, 2008 4:30 pm

    Andy

If you thought that Machida ran the whole fight, then you should be watching some “toughman” contest where they just stand and bang until one of them falls. Machida is a technician and he put on a display that night.

  10. KTru on September 3rd, 2008 5:03 pm

Yeah he lost that with Machida before he walked into the Octagon

    Because Machida kicked his arse.

Sick of hearing all these Machida haters. Why? Because he doesnt get hit? Tell me if you get in a fight and dont get hit you wont win. I am not saying his fights are something to be admired but he wins.

Back to topic, Tito and Jenna news would be cool 5-7 years ago.

Let’s face it, people pay to watch his PPV’s not to see him fight, but with a little ball of excitement inside hoping to see him get his face smashed in.

Luckily for us - Chuck helped satisfy that demand a couple of times.

There’s money yet to be made in the UFC with Tito.

    Tito vs Page
    Tito vs Wandy
    Tito vs Shogun
    Tito vs Rashad II

Hell, even Tito vs Chuck at HW

  13. Mike A on September 3rd, 2008 6:57 pm

why does tito deserve to fight any of those guys

  14. Jye on September 3rd, 2008 7:09 pm

Those fights are only interesting because the other fighters are exciting. And I don’t wanna see Tito Rashad 2, the first fight was terrible. Compare Tito v Page and Shogun v Page and tell me which one you’d rather see

  15. Mike A on September 3rd, 2008 8:12 pm

    I’d rather watch WWE than Tito/Rashad 2

  16. Zack with a ck on September 3rd, 2008 8:15 pm

This isn’t about “rather see” and “deserved” - I’m a 100% realist when it comes to MMA. This is about generating maximum audience and revenue and growing the sport. The UFC knows, and Tito knows, that his future is in being something of a heel and helping make stars out of other guys. Tito is an ideal opponent for a top-tier guy coming off a loss - he’s not a can and he brings eyeballs.

  17. mike wolfe on September 3rd, 2008 8:35 pm

Zack with a ck is right about Tito’s drawing power, but that’s the reason orgs other than UFC will pursue him. UFC doesn’t need him and he isn’t competitive at 205 in the UFC. Affliction would be a good match because their talent is very thin outside of the heavy weight division, and Tito’s name will help build the light heavy weight class for them.

  18. ctownhood on September 3rd, 2008 9:11 pm

Where’s Tito going next? Who cares….guy hasn’t looked good in a fight in eons. WWE or TNA would be his best bet…..

  19. Stickney on September 4th, 2008 5:54 am

Tito and Bobalu both need to resign with the UFC and force the UFC into doing a LHW Tournement over 4 events.

The driving force behind every decision is $$$$ and I would pay $$$$ to see all of these fights.

Tito vs Wandy II needs to happen

  22. JoHn on September 4th, 2008 7:39 pm
