Hater alert with most these replies. Glad to see some of the later posts came to defend Rashad.

You Chuck lovers are all the same,living in the past with your beer-bellies to match his.
I like Chuck but HE LOST THE FIGHT!!!!!

Wake up and see that no matter what your pointless rant about Sugar is in the way he handles himself, that the fact of the matter is. The two got into a fight………AND THE BETTER FIGHTER WON!!!!!

First of all, Rashad won…with a monster KO… so anybody thinking he wasn’t the better fighter is a complete tird.

Secondly, Rashad had beaten everyone he’s faced so if either he or Machida gets the next shot, no complaining here as both have clearly earned it.

Thirdly, Sugar is constantly evolving… Forrest fought Rampage nearly the same as Sugar tonight… both were Machida style… it’s really not that much different from how Chuck fought in his prime (a circling-counter puncher) except Chuck had/has bigger punching power. Sugar and Forrest still have a great deal of learning to do, being the relatively newbies into MMA that they are, and they still seem to be taking leaps ahead with every new match and the training that goes with it. They are at or near the top and they still have much further to go… that’s impressive.

Fourthly, calling Sugar boring is hilarious….it doesn’t even deserve a response…kinda like Kimbo not needing to reply to the 2ndBrett Rogers letter.

Finally, that all being said.. Nipple tweaking… amazingly annoying crazy F’ing wife…. post fight antics that seem disingenuous and completely lacking in respect… Damn… don’t idiots like Barnett, Lesner and now Evans watch how the crowd responds to GSP, Forrest, Randy and how that makes them way more popular and way more ‘endorsable’ (if that’s a word)…. even if Sugar wins the LHW belt, do you want him representing your company? Some of these new breed are truly dumb bastards and lacking in general sportsmanship… it seems to be getting worse, but maybe that’s just me???

man, evans is annoying, yes, but all you chumps who suck on the iceman`s nuts still gotta give him some respect – he laid your boy out straight up. no excuses. so evans showboats a bit…yeah it`s lame BUT so do most other UFC fighters…what about your boy liddell and his prancing around with his X arms and all that other nonsense after all his wins? same crap. get over it. fact remains, evans had a good gameplan and executed it flawlessly – he **might** have been a bit lucky with that punch, but then again, he landed and liddell did not, so how lucky is that? liddell does habitually drop his hands, so what do you expect? still, i was hoping the iceman would connect with that uppercut at the same time so we`d have a double knockout `casue that would have been sweet

That boom is the shakeup of the Ufc. It’s also the sound of Chuck’s motionless body hitting the canvas, along with everybody in MMA’s jaw hitting the ground. Rashad was most impressive 2night. It was like somebody dropped a grenade on Chuck when they were trading blows. I don’t think people realize how perfect that blow was. He put the Iceman to sleep!!!! No one has done that. Rampage gnP’d him out. Chuck was out for a while!! Reminiscent of Franklin/ Quarry yeah dog that bad.

-”Rashad is a chicken”, really, were you not watching the same fight I was. The punch Rashad landed came when he stood toe to toe with Liddell and basically said to himself “I don’t care if Liddell hits me, I’m just going to hit him first.” The punch wasn’t even a counter, it was a direct blow straight to Liddell’s head.

-”Rashad is the new Tito,” really? Yes the fight was boring but mostly because Chuck was looking for ONE punch the whole entire time. It takes two to make a bad fight.

If you heard Joe’s comments early, the fight game needs to evolve more in terms of striking with kicks and punches and variety. The fighter who evolves the most will stay on top. Those who just pivot will eventually fall to the bottom.

I’m not sure if they are really this many Rashad haters or if they are all on Liddell’s balls. The man knocked him out and got the win, give him his props. I don’t wanna hear that his dancing is disrespectful, because are you all forgetting that little screaming move with his arms spread out that Liddell does after every knockout win? Seriously lighten up, it’s not like he was dancing OVER Liddell’s motionless body. Everybody’s reaction to excitement is different, and this win might have changed Rashad’s life. Let him do whatever he wants, he deserved it.
