Wow, what a worthless interview. Fighters must be really sick of the same non-questions over and over again. I was shocked we didn’t hear “so, how was training camp?” Like you’re going to hear anything besides “I’m in great shape”.
Can we at least give some credit to ESPN for FINALLY recognizing MMA as a sport! Not that we need ESPN to validate MMA but it certainly goes a long way to mainstream acceptance.
If a year from now the interviews sound the same THEN I’d agree with the complaints. Until then, lets cut the mainstream media some slack as they learn more about MMA.
