He is one of the few true MM Artist's (gsp, huerta, etc). I certainly don't think he really 'lost' his last title fight with Schultz in any sense of the word. Since while Affliction's contracts aren't exclusive it'll keep you out of fighting the rest of the time for organizations that do require exclusivity and those organizations will tend to fight you more often then the organizations that don't. I don’t know if there is no drawback at all with Affliction not signing exclusive contracts. Since while Affliction’s contracts aren’t exclusive it’ll keep you out of fighting the rest of the time for organizations that do require exclusivity and those organizations will tend to fight you more often then the organizations that don’t.
