Just reading some of you clown’s comments…had to laugh.

Only the ones who ride Dana’s c*ck – and are ONLY fans of the sport by way of The Ultimate Fighter reality show.

Caplan gives a great interview and Millen comes across so much better than Dana White ever has – White should take some cues on how to address media/fans of MMA instead of always giving his best Vince McMahon impression and looking like a tool.

Wow Sam, you got a pretty good interview. I really don’t understand why people say they hate or don’t like Dana or Jerry. An MMA organization is a BUSINESS first and in the US it’s about being profitable. They have different views on certain things but they’re the same type of person and I don’t really see that as a bad thing. I don’t know how good of a businessman he really is, but I think M-1 will be around longer than EliteXc and Affliction.

No idea on this guy’s qualifications, but not sure why you think that or what it is Dana White should get credit for. I read (here?) he was initially against the TUF reality show that is credited with building up the UFC success. In the plus column, he gets a lot of free press by mouthing off (even though it’s incredibly annoying). It makes sense for the UFC to try to build a monopoly (and anyone – is it the Fertitas who are the real smart moguls? – who even has some understanding of Monopoly should know that) but long-term in individual sports, it’s the stars (and agents who see $ albeit many are probably smarter than Juanito), not the orgs. Fans don’t give a crap that Tyson held a unified belt of x, y, z, boxing orgs, or what boxing star is from what boxing org. We certainly remember how great the young Tyson was. We remember the individuals and certain bouts. Same thing with UFC, Pride, Affliction, WEC, EliteXC, Strikeforce, etc. It’s certain fights and fighters that stick in our memory. I could give a crap about the org, irrational brand loyalty to an org, etc. Who cares? The sooner the mainstream media tells these stories and focuses less on business competition, the better.

I didn’t realize that it was actually produced! I remember seeing a 10th anniversary Pride magazine though.

How anyone can believe anything this guy says after he claims he could have worked for the UFC if he wanted is beyond me. There’s about 5 straight up LIES in this interview that Millen told. I’m impressed that Sam got through interviewing him without puking.
