I have to wonder where all the Carano haters, who were stinking up the net leading into her last two fights, are. They talked about how Katie was going to KO Gina, then cried that the fight was stopped to quick. Then they bought into Kelly as if being ugly automatically means she’s tougher. I want to know what excuse they’ll give this time for why Gina was able to beat another ugly mug down.

I see a very close fight here. The first 3 minutes will be the toughest for either girl but I see Gina pulling out a win by the 3rd round. And looking damn sexy while doing so.

I don’t think it will go to a decision. Kobold is very experienced, but is also a hot head! She wants to throw down with Gina and that will be to her demise. As one person previously mentioned Gina has muay thai experience and a lot more training than she did for Young. I say TKO in the second.

I think Kaitlin Young was overestimated as Gina’s toughest test. Kaitlin’s got a ton of potential, but hasn’t been fighting all that long. She’d been submitted in her last fight before Gina. Gina’s got a definite edge here, but I think Kelly’s experience could be an asset for her in this fight. While I feel like Gina will win, this could be a lot closer match than the betting odds suggest.

I agree Gina wins by decision she would have a better chance of getting a finish if these athletic commissions would eliminate the ridiculous rule of 3 minute rounds for woman.If this fight goes the distance it’s a whole 9 minutes.

lately, every single person Gina faces is her “toughest opponent yet”..
after she did what she did to Young, who was another one of those “toughest opponents yet”, i’m convinced that Cyborg’s the ONLY fighter Gina has to worry about right now.. and maybe LaRosa..

because, even i, a supporter of Gina, thought that she might get knocked down or out by Young.. and she didn’t even get tested in that fight.. not rocked once.. she was caught off guard by a few jabs.. but that’s about it.. she walked right through every punch..

i think she’ll use her pattented straight kicks to keep Kelly away.. and if it hits the ground, i think she’ll be cool, calm, and collected enough to get to her feet, or a top position..

you know,
people are quick to say Gina will get KO’d.. or that she hasn’t felt true power..
you can’t forget, that before these last 5 or so fights with Female MMA powderpuffs [as some would consider them] she was taking elbows and knees from the best of ‘em in Thailand.. i’m sure her chin is not a problem..
