I am waiting for EDDIE to finish his contract with ELITE XC so he doesnt have to keep fighting UFC rejects like Diaz.. MARK MY WORDS.. THIS FIGHT WILL BE STOPPED, Regardless of Diaz’s Chin… Wanna see something Interesting, Have Alvarez beat Diaz and Noons in the same night… Trust me you guys dont realize how good Eddie is, I know him personally and know the area he grew up in, He is going to be the NEXT HUGE THING in MMA/UFC,, I wanna see Alvarez take on someone more interesting like a Kenny Florian or in the near future BJ PENN..

Joey, if you haven’t noticed EXC is all about the viewer sales. Diaz sells more tickets than alvarez, he’s the biggest draw in Cruiserweight by far. He has to be on the ticket for the next title shot because they need views. So, whether it was Noons Diaz or Alvarez Diaz, didn’t matter. Noons-Alvarez would have been a great fight but the EXC needs ratings right now more than great fights.

This is hilarious. They stripped Noons of the title, when Noons was saying that he should be fighting Alvarez instead of Diaz. Then they put in Diaz against Eddie, hahaha, I’m laughing my ass off right now. I thought they weren’t offering Noons Alvarez because Eddie was fighting Joachim next, but that’s not the case. That makes this even better.

Man, Diaz vs. Alvarez is the fight that will finally get me started in gambling on MMA. I think the masses will put a lot of money on Diaz without being aware of just how good Alvarez is.

I love the Diaz brothers but I don’t think Diaz can beat Alvarez. Alvarez is faster, stronger, and pushes the pace more more intensely without gassing.

However, Diaz is practically impossible to KO (only 1 KO loss ever, very early in his career) and I don’t see it happening for Alvarez. Diaz has fought some of the best in his weight class in the UFC and none of them could finish him, Alvarez will have to settle for a decision win.

For me, this is great news. I love to see loudmouths like Diaz get schooled, and Alvarez is the man to do it. Think about it: Diaz’s last three fights he’s been moving forward with his chin out and no head movement. Late 1st round KO for Alvaerz.

Ken Pavia said they were presented with the Buentello fight but had to turn it down because of the short notice. I’m paraphrasing but he said Roger’s had been on vacation and was out of shape. 5 weeks wouldn’t have been enough time for him to prepare.

Alvarez will punish Diaz. Nick has a good chin he can really take a punch and i see him taking a lot of punishment in this fight.
