Dan Lauzon to compete for World Championship Fighting on Nov. 14

Joe Cavallaro’s World Championship Fighting has announced that former UFC lightweight competitor Dan Lauzon has been added to the promotion’s upcoming Nov. 14 show.

Lauzon, the youngest competitor ever to compete in the UFC, is scheduled to fight Justin Hammerstrom during the WCF event, which is set to emanate from Wilmington, Mass. at the Shriners Auditorium.

According to the release, Lauzon will fight former IFL lightweight Chris Horodecki on Jan. 24 during Affliction’sDay of Reckoning” event in Anaheim, Calif.

Lauzon and Horodecki had been scheduled to fight each other on Oct. 11 before Affliction announced the event’s postponement. Lauzon made the decision to take a fight before the re-scheduled date against Horodecki because he wanted to remain sharp.

“I really wanted to stay sharp and keep my momentum,” Lauzon is quoted as saying in a WCF press release. “…Justin is a really tough veteran, and a former champion. It would be a huge mistake for me to look past him. He’ll see the best Dan Lauzon on November 14.”

I find it hilarious Joe Lauzon looks like he’d fix your computer, where as Dan looks like he’d steal it.
