The Ultimate Fighting Championship has finalized its 10-bout card for UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008 on Dec. 27 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Already announced had been featured fights involving Forrest Griffin defending his UFC light heavyweight title vs. Rashad Evans, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira defending his interim UFC heavyweight title vs. Frank Mir, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson facing off against Wanderlei Silva.

Two previously unannounced matchups for the non-televised preliminary portion of the card have been revealed, with Ryo Chonan taking on Brad Blackburn in a welterweight title and a clash of heavyweights between the returning Dan Evensen and debuting Pat Barry.

Also confirmed is a bout expected to air during the five-bout pay-per-view telecast between heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Mustapha Al-Turk.

The rest of the card will be filled out my matchups between C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio, Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister, Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy, and Antoni Hardrock vs. Mark Burch.

It said on junkie that the Dollaway fight is going to be televised ahead of the Okami fight. That makes no sense at all to me, if UFC is trying to sell a Okami v Silva fight early next year.

Other than that, UFC has 8 HWs on the card for the night, with 3 making their debuts, it will be a good night for the division with that many new faces coming in

What a great card…under card worth going to Vegas for…not that one would need a reason

  3. the Levi says:

Okami vs Lister should be on the televised portion of the card.

  4. brett says:

the pat berry fight needs to be on tv. this guy is an animal

  5. Shatner says:

The Pat Berry fight will not be on PPV not with the rest of this lineup, but I’m sure CB Dollaway will be televised after all he was on TUF and Chonan vs. Blackburn should be on ahead of the CB Dollaway fight.
