I don’t see how else they could do TUF. There’s at least one free fight every episode and we usually get to see one good fighter come out of each season. I can’t complain about it too much, but some people are really hating on the house drama.

Take the show for what it is, entertainment. If you aren’t entertained, just watch the last 15 minutes of the episode. Or you could just not watch it at all and quit complaining. I for one would be saddened if the show stopped, especially since we get to learn so much about the coaches personalities! This season has definitely made me change my mind about who I’m rooting for in the Mir vs Nog matchup. Go Nog!

Here’s the thing: Lutter didn’t miss weight by SEVEN pounds. Do you realize how much that is? Especially having an extra month to prepare for the fight. Seven pounds is atrocious and shows that he had no committment to training. I mean come on, if you are say…. a week before the fight and you are ten pounds over…hmmm maybe it’s time to get in the sauna and cut some weight. Showing up as the champ SEVEN pounds over is very disrespectful to everyone involved. The fans, your opponent, the WEC, everyone should have a major beef over this. Not to mention his horrible performance during the fight. Travis Lutter wasn’t fighting for the title but at least he TRIED. Lutter is actually considered to have given Silva one of his toughest tests. So all of the above considered. I am saying with absolute certainty…..FILHO DOES NOT GIVE A RAT’S ASS. Until he shows that he cares about fighting I wouldn’t offer him a contract either. As far as Faber goes. Maybe a fight with Leonard Garcia with the winner getting a title shot.

TUF is turning out some decent fighters, and their exposure on the show makes me more interested in watching them once they start fighting on UFC cards.

And like Hex, I couldn’t help but laugh my way through the last episode, I guess I’m just another “stupid guy” like my wife keeps telling me.

I love this season. Once you accept that TUF us really just about entertainment you can enjoy the show. at least, I can. I personally have found it hilarious this season And there are some very promising fighters to boot!

Who are you to say Filho does not give a rats ass? You have no idea what a person is thinking about especially one going through emotional problems and who knows what else in life. As for he’s out of a UFC contract because of the fight and missing weight, what’s more embarrassing than Travis Lutter winning TUF getting a title shot against Anderson Silva and coming in overweight and fighting in a non title fight. When that whole season on TUF was built around guys getting another chance in the UFC and the winner gets a title shot it was a total failure,and as I recall he fought again in the UFC. If Lutter’s sorry ass can get to fight in the UFC I’m sure Filho when the time is right will get to as well after all this was his only loss.

you really love Faber… the dude lost that fight straight up and was loosing the fight up till the KO… Faber needs to work his way back up like everyone else… you give immediate rematches if it was a super close fight or some sorta controversial ending… not because you think Faber was just over confident

TUF should either be completely retooled or be completely stopped. This season has been a pathetic trainwreck of bad behaviour that only hurts the reputation of the UFC and MMA in general. EXC’s crap was bad enough. The UFC isn’t looking much better thanks to TUF.

And speaking of ProElite, this is probly a stunt on their part to get Zuffa to buy them out. Still, it would be a good move for the UFC and WEC to pick up a bunch of those contracts and maybe earn a little good will with the MMA community.
