Hermes Franca arrested on DUI charges

UFC lightweight competitor Hermes Franca was arrested in southern Florida early Thursday morning on charges of suspicion of driving while under the influence.

FiveOuncesOfPain.com confirmed the news with Sgt. Scott Pascarella of the Jupiter Police Department earlier this afternoon. Pascarella indicated that the arrest took place at 12:17 a.m. ET.

After his arrest, Franca was processed and transferred to the Palm Beach County jail.

    Its a shame that all the great things that fighters do and accomplish the bad always gets the most publicity.
