If BJ wins he might just drop the LW belt and stick around to solely defend the WW belt. Or he might pop right back down after a reasonable recovery to tool Florian. BJ wanted GSP earlier but GSP said he had fought too much in 2008 and needed a breather. It's not like BJ has been inactive for some great length of time. Look at guys like Florian. He is darn near the #1 spot for a title shot and he'll have to wait until BJ is "ready" to defend. At this pace it could be a year for him. It has to be frustrating. I can understand BJ's desire to grab another belt. I can also understand White's desire to have another p4p fighter in his stable. But there are a lot of hungry guys in the 155 division. This in no where near the same situation as the 185 division. The problem is that this is these guys career. Look at guys like Florian.
