5 Oz. of Pain sets traffic record for month of November

December 1, 2008 by Staff

FiveOuncesOfPain.com broke its monthly record for page views in a month during the month of November, shattering the previous mark it had set.

While the additional attention brought to the site as a result of UFC 91 certainly helped in establishing a new personal best, the site actually would have surpassed its previous total without the event.

The independently owned and operated site, which has no marketing or advertising budget, has grown largely through word of mouth. For that, the site would like to thank its readership for helping spread the word and ask that you continue to help get the word out so that we can grow further.

Five Ounces of Pain would also like to thank all the radio shows who feature site founder and publisher Sam Caplan as a guest and promote our URL, as well as content sites that refer traffic to this site.

Our recent growth has brought forth several interesting opportunities that we hope to announce in the near future.

I agree. A lot of us started reading mma news at other sites but they kinda suck now compared to this one. I just hope as you guys continue to grow and expand that the quality of the site doesn’t suffer like others have in the past. Edit: Jason your complement is really appreciated by all of our staff, thank you for reading.

Not surprised, a dozen interviews on an f’n holiday weekend doesn’t hurt traffic I’d be willing to bet.

Keep up the good work guys, I’ve been around here since the early days, before this fancy format and all the new features, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. How about some more contests? What happened to those?
