The asskissing at the beginning was really pathetic. You pretty much tried to make excuses for Elliot’s loss to get in his good graces. You pretty much said he only lost because he had a wrestler laying on him, and echoed Frank Mir’s sore loser statements about it being nothing more than a wrestling match.

Not one question about why Elliot was content to hold Bader in his guard. Nothing about Elliot’s inability to keep the fight on the feet if that is where he wanted it. As easy as it was for Bader to take Elliot down and “lay” on him, it was apparently just as easy for Elliot to hold Bader in his guard so that he didn’t take any damage.

Both guys have a lot to learn, and the fight was stalemated because neither was able to overcome the other’s strength. But Bader was the agressor, and Elliot was the one stalling. Learn something about grappling.

Props to Elliot for very respectful statements and honestly assessing the reality of the fight game. Also, it is awesome of him to show such appreciation for TUF as the vehicle that has provided everyone in this industry with jobs. Most people are far more short-sided than him in understanding that, and it was nice to hear.

The bottom line is that Elliot represented himself well in training, fighting and in his behavior in the house. His acknowledgment of his losing being his responsibility is 100% correct and shows his maturity as individual. He’ll continue to get better because I believe it’s important to him and he’ll make it a priority. With that said, I do think his stand-up is very suspect. Time will tell. I hope the best for him.

I like how he didn’t complain about the Bader lay’n pray and owned up to the fact that it’s his job to be able to deal with that. I haven’t seen a lot of fighters take responsibility when something like that happens.

Good job on the show Eliot. Especially for not getting involved in the bullshit. Looking forward to see you fight.

Elliot will never amount to anything in this sport or life. If he thinks he’s going to make big money from MMA he needs a reality check. I wouldn’t pay $2 to see him fight.

He also has that nipple tweak in his back pocket. That is another benefit with the Jackson camp.

On the show, I think it was Frank Mir that said Elliot’s greatest loss is his own lack of self confidence. From reading his responses above, I can see what Frank meant, with phrases like “What can you do?”, “That’s it you know?” and “right?”. These responses are constantly and persistently seeking confirmation. If Elliot ,who’s truly a stand up guy and a gentleman, had the confidence or swagger of a Rampage Jackson, this guy could become a devastating bad ass that doesn’t have to be likeable or everybody’s friend. I’d like to see that guy come out one day. I bet we’d hear alot from him.
