If the NSAC wouldn't even let Gouveia try to cut the extra weight, he must have been completely famished and dehydrated. This means his gas tank will be lower than usual tonight when he steps into the Octagon. Even though he submitted Ryan Jensen, he didn't look too good up until that point. My guess is that he will either come out swinging hard trying to finish it in the first, or he will hope that he catches Mcdonald in a submission, who is a lot harder to submit than Ryan Jensen. All Mcdonald has to do to get the win is possibly weather an early storm and then keep pushing Gouveia the entire time without getting caught. McDonald will win this fight, and there are many, many different ways he can win it.

Gouveia is playing with fire in terms of the weight. Makes it harder for Dana to cut him if and when he beats MacDonald.
