Jay Hieron vs. Jason House from “Day of Reckoning” to air tonight on HDNet
The never-before-seen welterweight clash from Affliction and M-1′s “Day of Reckoning” this past Saturday between former IFL champion Jay Hieron and Jason House is scheduled to air tonight on HDNet’s “Inside MMA” starting at 9 p.m. ET.
Hieron vs. House had been scheduled to air during HDNet’s live telecast of the Affliction undercard but the match was bumped due to time constraints. Instead of airing as a featured match, the bout took place as a non-televised swing bout following the night’s main event of WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski.
Hieron recently discussed the difficulties he encountered in staying ready for a fight that had been moved to the end of the card during an exclusive 5 Oz. of Pain video interview. One of the most notable issues brought about by the re-scheduling was how it impacted the sponsorships he had received for the fight.
