The vas grease doesn’t change the fact the Penn was totally outclassed. He never came close to pulling of a submission that the grease would have affected. BJ just looks like an ass after talking all that shit and getting pwn3d like he did. I wouldnt be suprised if Florian beat him now.

keenan, if you’re trying to imply that “Kid” wouldn’t WANT to fight here, he said he does in Dana White’s UFC 94 video blog..

I still haven’t seen the BJ/GSP fight, but i doubt the vasoline on the back affected much.. After it was applied, how many takedown attempts did BJ have, and how many submission attempts? If none, the vasoline was irrelevent..

We’re still talking about a minute amount of vasoline that may have come in contact with a small spot on GSP’s back during a fight in which he pounded his opponent into submission for four straight rounds.
Lets move on. BJ quit from a severe beating, If they fought again, it would probably be worse.

GSP vs BJP II should not go down in history with a question mark beside it. Does ANYONE think there is any chance BJ would take a rematch? Of course not. Is it because he is afraid Georges will use vaseline? Of course not. BJ knows he got whipped by a superior fighter, at least at 170.

I hope BJ comes back and busts all the little dudes at 155.

Mike, I’m not so sure that Rampage getting a title shot is crap. He barely lost the decision to Forrest (my roommate still swears he won) and he just destroyed one of the only men to defeat him with his KO over Wanderlei Silva. If he gets by Jardine (which he can do if he learns how to check leg kicks) then he’ll be 5-1 in the UFC with his only loss being a (somewhat) controversial decision.

I’m not saying that Machida doesn’t deserve a shot…I just don’t think it’s a travesty for Rampage to get one before him.

Oh, and I’m pretty sure that the only person in the UFC with an unanswered victory over him is Shogun…and I think we can guess how that fight would go right now…

so the 2nd round of the fight doenst matter?? it only takes one strike to entirely change the course of the fight and that is what happened… a cheat only has to work for a moment.

dont think kid will fight here. why go from somewhere where your uber famous and one of the top draws to go to somewhere where most people dont know who you are dont even care about the org. i love wec but a lot of my friends call it the “kids” or “midget wrestling”. i just dont think the money is there.
