Great article, Michael.

I don't agree on MTV, but would really like to see any MMA fighter sucker punch Bam Margera. Then the fighter and all his friends can giggle like ninnies as they draw on his face. Will it happen? No. It is for this reason I don't watch MTV anymore.

On the testicle issue: Certainly Rogan must understand that our ancient ape ancestors mostly walked on all fours quite a bit of the time, which means that human genitalia might be poorly placed at his point, but back then the "jewels" were quite armored at the posterior of the body.

Oh, and Huck, you forgot to comment on the "When Chimpanzees attack" news story about the lady who kept a Chimp as a pet, only to have it attack and rip her friend's face off and eat it. Why would people keep a pet that has the power to rip a human's arms out of the sockets, for pete's sake? I would call this a "CON", obviously.

Stockton, Cali: What happens when Liberals run a state like we are now beginning to run America? You get cities like Stockton. We need to borrow 10 billion dollars to bail them out. CON!

I'm not sure if it's just me, and the surname aside, but Anthony Johnson reminds me of the old boxing heavyweight champ Jack Johnson.

um Diaz is a lot bigger than Guida, so i dont really understand the comment about him pushing around smaller LWs. and i dont think he was implying he was everyones hero by the song selection, he was just having an exciting entrance as usual.

A: Luigi Fioravanti didn't look like he wanted to be in the cage from the moment he walked out. All i could see during that fight was a guy looking for a way out, Fioravanti didn't come to fight Saturday night.

CON: Cain Velasquez and Anthony Johnson appologizing for their performances in the post fight interview.

This is a disturbing trend with younger fighters, they want to build a fan base so they may fight riskier and sacrifice fighting the right fight as opposed to the swing for the fences fight.

Sam Caplan this one is to you. What do guys like you and Cofield think about the ufc.com writers?

Editor's Note: I can't speak for Steve, but I can speak for myself. I've met Tom Gerbasi several times and I think he's one of the true good guys in the field of MMA journalism. He made a strong reputation for himself as a boxing writer (which he still writes about) and the UFC made a great decision in bringing him in as their lead writer. I think Tom is one of the most skilled writers out there.

this was hilarious.

you inspired me to watch the Anythony Johnson vs Luigi fight. You are right that was a good fight. I hope to see more of him as well. I dont think he should have been as self critical, since it makes Luigi look bad... oh well.

great article, hilariouS.

I'm not suggesting that I want to see BJ fight GSP again, or even fight at 170 again. But I still don't think he's developed his full potential. I think he could elevate his game again if trained with somebody like Greg Jackson. BJ's corner had nothing intelligent to say to him about the fight, and his game plan was uninspired--stand and exchange with a superior striker and defend off your back when he takes you down.

Speaking of Stockton, I spent a week there one summer years ago. By 10:00 a.m. it was hotter than the doorknobs of hell. I do not know why anybody would choose to live there, and it's even more mysterious why anybody would brag about it like the Diaz bros. do.

You had me laughing outloud at work... when I should be working... but no one else is here...

Nothing on MTV is worth watching.

I have no issue with Guida. He is what he is and what he is is a test of your heart (both physically and metaphorically). He's the best gatekeeper in the UFC.
