I wish we could compare and contrast the respective deals from the UFC and SF.

Was the UFC deal a significant pay cut for Shields? Would of liked to see him test himself against the top ten fighters in the UFC.

He’s going to have keep blowing ifghters out of the water like he did to Daley and Thompson in order to move up the rankings.

I truly hope Jake dont try to box in this bout. We all saw his horrible boxing effort his last time out against Paul Daley . Riggs has the strength in his hands but no ground game when compared to Jake. If Jake sticks to his strengths on the ground he will pull out a “w”.

If his contract just transfered, then I believe he only has a few fights left. He could be a free agent by summer. I’ll take him by 2nd rnd sub against Riggs.

I really don’t want to see this. I love Strikeforce and all, but if you want to be a star at WW, you have to be in the UFC. They have a stranglehold on that division and if Shields really wants to fight the best, that’s where he needs to be sooner rather than later.
