its always fun to watch shamrock and diaz fight. Jake shields is a top 10 welterweight fighter but that probably wont be very competitive, although still nice to see him fight again. Smith vs radach should be great. When Benji fought ninja, that was one of the best fights ive seen on tv. Two double knockdowns and it could have gone either way. I am really looking forward to seeing strikeforce make a good showing and becoming a strong third mma company moving to second if affliction doesnt work out.

Why? I’d rather see neither of them fight at all than this fight again. It wasn’t competitive the first time around, there is nothing indicating it will be this time.

Pretty much how I feel about this fight and most of the card. There are no compelling fights to me at all. Just speaks to the lack of depth most organizations have.

This is a very pointless fight. Thomson already soundly beat Melendez, and not too long ago. This is about as pointless as Faber/Pulver 2 was.

I can cut Strikeforce slack because this is one of their first cards for Showtime (and on shorter notice). But this better not be a trend.
