never thought i’d say it, but i hope diego beats the Huggy Bear Guida……i think Diego will be elusive enough to prevent the blanket known as Guida from visually winnning a decision by holding on for dear life.

Diego, in my mind, has always been Clay’s equal.. only more dominant, and versed in submissions..

these guys have the two best cardio’s and paces in the sport today..
I used to watch Diego and just think it was unfair how he just had is way with this opponent, and was all over them..
Guida’s sort of the same, only, he doesn’t do the damage that Diego does..

Diego will win this on the feet,
and if/when it goes to the ground, Diego has all the tools needed to either stand back up, or submit Guida..

It’ll be a nice fight none the less

I see Diego Sanchez dominating this fight in the stand up. The only area were I see Clay having some what of an advantage is on the ground, but Diego has awesome scrambling and submission defense skills.

If you remember the Nate Diaz fight, Clay was exposed on hes feet. Nate picked him apart. Clay was relentless in the clinch and always looked to take it to the ground, but Diaz was out classing Clay on hes feet.

If Diego is smart, he will employ the same game plan he used for the Stevenson fight. Clay has increidible heart, but he is one dimensional if you compare him to fighters like Penn, Florian and Diego.

Diego is a well rounded MMA fighter, he has great cardio, good stand up skills, good BJJ. I see this fight going the distance, with Diego pulling out a unanimous decision and setting up a rematch with Florian or Sherk.
