Years ago this would have been laughable but the HW division in boxing has sucked for awhile so he might do ok. I'd prefer to see AA back in the mix in the UFC though .

We're talking about a difference of 7-8lbs in gloves compared to MMA. I think his chin will survive. Plus I believe that he learned his lesson leaving himself open for that punch from Fedor. Boxing is way different than MMA. In fact I believe that boxing is just now making it's formal debut into MMA as far as style and technique.

This reminds me of the crossover fights Pride and K-1 had in Japan, that led to alot of their success, and superstardom for alot of their fighters. This is exciting for MMA fans to see how a former champ will do in one of the disciplines of MMA. Hopefully boxing fans can appreciate this as well. It seems like boxing fans reject all things MMA. I hope Arlovski puts on an impeccable display of talent, and intellect, fights the duration of the rounds and wins a unanimous decision, boxing fans would not know what to say. They would probably give him another fight against a top level fighter, hoping to embarass him. That is the only way they could 'beat' MMA. I would like to see more exhibitions like this on UFC cards. Anderson Silva V. Wanderlei Silva in a kickboxing match. Quinton Jackson V. James Irvin in a boxing match. Frank Mir V. Gabriel Gonzaga in a grappling match. This would be an interesting take on combat competition, exciting for fans, and something new for fighters.
