But in the MMA world, non-UFC entities are rated on a different scale as if morality was somethign reserved to them. Lesnar out of the gate? You mean fight some asian bum in his first, then lose in his second? Yeah, those were barnburners. After that he had a good win agaisnt a journeyman/gatekeeper and got his title shot right after... Please dont even try to defend this run of events. Its ok, its not a sport but an event where matchmakers decide would should fight. It is what it is but dont try to embelish history with a out of the gate. Right now they are exactly the same after one fight although GUida was a better oppenent than Kim who was 2-5 and on a 3 fight losing streak. She's worth every penny. You're also right about Affliction and I think everyone will have to admit that by this time next year. I can't see any indication that they are planning for the future. They haven't signed any additional legit HW talent to challenge Fedor (basically, their entire HW division will have faced Fedor once Barnett has). They have almost no infrastructure. They are bleeding money with every show. And now (apparently), they are looking to commit suicide on July 11th. Not good. But at least Strikeforce is in a position to pick up a bunch of good fighters. You’re right about Gina Carano. She’s worth every penny.
