NSAC Releases UFC 98 Salary Information

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released salary information for UFC 98 and a number of its participants drew six-figure paychecks, thanks in large part to bonus earnings.

According to NSAC figures, the event brought in a live gate of approximately $3.4 Million and dished out $957,000 in payroll.

Individual payouts were as follows:

Lyoto Machida – $200,000 (includes $60,000 “Knockout of the Night” bonus)

Rashad Evans – $200,000

Matt Hughes – $260,000 (includes $60,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus)

Matt Serra – $135,000 (includes $60,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus)

Drew McFedries – $34,000

Xavier Foupa-Pokam – $6,000

Chael Sonnen – $50,000

Dan Miller – $15,000

Frankie Edgar – $40,000

Sean Sherk – $40,000

Brock Larson – $102,000 (includes $60,000 “Submission of the Night” bonus)

Mike Pyle – $15,000

Tim Hague – $10,000

Pat Barry – $7,000

Kyle Bradley – $8,000

Phillipe Nover – $10,000

Krzystof Soszynski – $16,000

Andrew Gusmao – $5,000

Yoshiyuki Yoshida – $16,000

Brandon Wolff – $3,000

George Roop – $16,000
