Playboy’s 2004 special editions model of the year LaTasha Marzolla made her mixed martial arts debut a successful one at last evening’s Tuff-N-Uff event that was held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Marzolla, a close friend to Gina Carano who was in attendance for last night’s action, needed just one round to dispose of Christy Tada as her corner called a halt to the bout at the conclusion of the opening round.
Tada rushed Marzolla in the opening moments and connected cleanly with several hard punches. The two exchanged blows multiple times during the bout before a big punch by Marzolla towards the end of the initial round prompted the bout’s eventual conclusion.
Marzolla had compiled a Muay-Thai record of 9-3 before torn ligaments in her knee from her last bout and giving birth to a child forced her to the sidelines for three years before she returned to action last night for the first time under MMA rules.
On top of her punishing striking game, this vicious vixen competed on her high school wrestling team making her a real threat no matter where the fight ends up.
