Leites vs. Sakara and Riley vs. Nelson complete UFC 101

The additions of a middleweight bout between Thales Leites and Alessio Sakara, and a lightweight showdown featuring Aaron Riley and Shane Nelson have made UFC 101 official.

UFC 101 is slated for August 8 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

Leites will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss in his championship bid against Anderson Silva at UFC 97 when he faces off with another fellow Brazilian in the heavy handed Sakara, who is fresh off of a head kick knockout of Joe Vedepo at UFC Fight Night 15.

Riley will have his chance to avenge his controversial stoppage loss to Nelson suffered at UFC 96 in this lightweight match up that will surely have a little more than just pride on the line as far as each fighter’s certainty with the UFC goes.
