UFC 102 Confirmed for August 29
The UFC has officially announced that its UFC 102 card will take place on August 29.
While the company has yet to officially confirm a venue for the event, the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon is expected to host the card.
The main event for UFC 102 is expected to be a heavyweight match-up between MMA legends Randy Couture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
While no bouts are official the rumored card for UFC 102 at this time are:

Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva
Matt Hamill vs. Brandon Vera

They are really feeding Chris Tuchscherer to the sharks right off the bat giving him Napao. I wonder why they decided on the stiff challenge right off the bat?

This card is stacked. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Leben v Rosholt match got moved to the fight night in Oklahoma in September. Seeing how Rosholt is an Oklahoma St. legend on the wrestling mat, and Leben is a name that can still get people to watch.
I also agree that Tuchscherer is getting fed to the sharks, and I don’t really understand this match making. They put Dos Santos in with Werdum a top 10 HW, and then when he won, his quality of opponent has actually gone down. Why not give Tuchscherer a guy like Neil Wain, Mike Wessel, Mike Russow (now that he has signed with UFC), or even Pat Berry. Give these guys a chance to get the UFC “jitters” out of the way, and actually build their way up the UFC against other lower level guys.
