Considering that Dana ran the UFC at a huge deficit for years before the luck of TUF launched the UFC into the moneymaker it is now, I'd say he worked a long time for that luck. I respect that. The guy's tenacious as a pitbull. And I have to respect the Fertittas for believing in him that much. I know I wouldn't have. The best part, really, is that the UFC doesn't have to pay a dime to get Kimbo to work for them. But I did get the feeling from Dana White that he is genuinely impressed that Kimbo actually stepped up and took him up on his offer. Slice could be very beneficial to UFC, and he wasn't very expensive to "get." Hardcores might be offended by his participation, but if he acts like an adult rather than an arrogant jerk, even they could be won over. And who knows? The guy might do better than everybody predicts. Most of the TUF fighters seem to freeze up, even the ones with experience.
