Smith should change his nickname to "The Human Punching Bag". I can't think of another person with such dismal foot work and lack of head movement. He completely defines the saying one dimensional fighter.

Diaz landed a ton of accurate strikes, and though none of them were 1 punch finishers he definitely did a lot of damage. Smith completely crumpled late in the second and again at the end after Diaz connected with lefts to the body.

Ranallo said it was a liver shot, and I wouldn't rule that out, but I would bet on broken ribs. They were left hooks and looked to be landing on the floating ribs.

I did notice that Frank Shamrock's commentary about Diaz was highly complimentary... probably a little out of respect, and a lot out of wanting to build up the greatness of someone that easily defeated him. If a chump beats you, that stings a lot worse than if a top contender beats you. :)

A big night for Ceasar Gracie two of his best students come out with impressive wins. Everyone wants to see Shields in UFC, but I am starting to want to see Diaz make another run at the UFC WW division, I think he could come back and be a factor. I'd love to see Diaz in against Kos, Fitch, Saunders, Kampmann, Larsen or Condit.

I'm having a hard time deciding where I want to Rank Brett Rogers and Arlovski in the HW landscape. I think I would go with Arlovski at 10 and Rogers at 12. As technical as AA can be I don't know where he goes from here, alot of the new guys on the scene are hitting harder then ever. I mean guys like Overeem, Carwin, Dos Santos, Velasquez, Lesnar, and Gonzaga are all proving that they can seriously dent a solid chin, and AA's is made of glass. I am very curious to see what his next move will be. Hopefully Rogers v Overeem can be made for August, as that is now a big time fight in the HW division.

1. Fedor
2. Barnett
3. Mir
4. Lesnar
5. Nog
6. Randy
7. Carwin
8. Sylvia
9. Overeem
10. AA
11. Dos Santos
12. Rogers
13. Kongo
14. Monson
15. Velasquez
