Three title fights in two events will conclude Bellator’s first season
Three championship bouts are set to bring a close to Bellator Fighting Championships first season of action.
The separate events are set to take place on June 12 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and June 19 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The winner of each tournament finale will walk away with a cool $100,000 cash for the win, which will bring their combined earnings for the three bouts up to a total of $175,000.
Featherweight Joe Soto was recently crowned as the organization’s first tournament winner.
The tournament finals that have been set are as follows; Lyman Good will face off with Omar De La Cruz on June 12 for the welterweight championship, while Eddie Alvarez meets Toby Imada for the lightweight crown and Hector Lombard will stand across from Jared Hess to determine the middleweight champion on June 19.
