Excited that this will be my first show I see in person. Hoping that Couture has a strong performance. Have to admit though more excited for the Marquart Maia fight.

That is one hell of a card. If your a betting man get out your pen and paper: Couture, Jardine, Leben, Maia, and Vera.

No Title fights…. not really sure how pumped I can get to see two guys that are past their prime as a main event.
The undercard is more interesting then the main card…IMO

Great card filled with a rich variety of fights and potential outcomes. I could flip a coin on the Jardine/Silva fight because they are both aggressive strikers. I’m curious to see how big Leben will be considering he will not be using steroids this time. He was massive in his last fight(probably because of Stanozolol). Maia will be against a much stronger and bigger Marquardt and I believe Nate will have a good gameplan against Maia. Vera is lackluster and overpaid and I hope he sees stars against Peanut and butter jelly man!

Why don’t we get to see these so called “under-card” fights on the pay per view broadcast? Most of the time, you’re more likely to see great fights that don’t make it on the main card.
In all seriousness. Does anyone know the answer to this?

The answer is because they have a timeslot to fill and if the main card fights fill all of that time(including commercials) then the time is up. If some of the main card fights are ended quickly then we get a bonus couple of other fights. The UFC has been known to show up to nine fights on one PPV. I’m with you dude in wishing I could see all of the fights considering I love all of the fights, main card and undercard. The cool thing is that some of the undercard fights are available on the internet if you do a quick search. Sometimes for free through certain websites that I won’t mention. Wait a few hours after the fights of course. You can also buy them on http://www.ufc.com for a few bucks each with their UFC on demand feature @ http://video.ufc.com/
