What would they be fighting for if there wasn't a title? There are so many great fighters at 155 they could even start up a 162-lbs. division just to get them some more exposure and also so a lot of them won't have to sit around 6 or 7 months at a time before a fight. Plus you should back it up with a few advantages to your argument. The 155 title is defended two to three times a year in the UFC. Plus the division is stacked and crowded in the UFC. The WEC should keep the 155 division because it enables more fights to happen in general at 155. Plus having a title just makes it more exciting for the fighters and the fans in the WEC. Think about it for a second and come up with pros and cons to elimatating the WEC 155. Doesn't that feel better?
