This is a pick em fight. However if Alves goes in there trying too hard to get a KO he’s gonna lose. He should fight smart and take whatever GSP gives him.

I loved how he knocked out Karo! Of course, Karo didn’t think he was knocked out because he is king of the world. Alves is the only guy in welterweight at this point that I see as a threat to GSP. Alves will get better in the future, so it might take a second fight. I don’t think GSP will stand with him.

He missed weight for the Hughes fight, but he made weight for the Koscheck fight, so I don’t know why you say he hasn’t made weight in a while.
