Muhsin Corbbrey signs five-fight deal with WEC

Professional mixed martial artist, kickboxer and boxer Muhsin Corbbrey has signed an exclusive five-fight deal with the WEC.Muhsin Corbbrey

The announcement of the signing comes courtesy of a recent report made by the Savannah Morning News.

A lightweight with an MMA record of 8-3, Corbbrey has finished seven of his eight victories on his own terms, with 6 of his wins coming by way of submission, and just one coming by knockout.

Don’t let the high submission rate fool you with Muhsin, he’s as well versed a striker as they come, having compiled a 9-1 record in Muay Thai and a 6-2-1 record in professional boxing.

The resident of Savannah, Georgia has won three of his last four bouts in MMA, with the sole defeat coming at the hands of Nick Diaz in June of 2008.

The signing of Corbbrey adds to depth to an increasingly deep WEC lightweight division that features the likes of Jamie Varner, Donald Cerrone, and Benson Henderson to name a few.

I’m all for depth in the WEC’s LW division. Solid signing.
