Full line-up for WEC 43 released
WEC 43 is set in stone as the promotion recently released a complete fight roster for the card.
The event will take place on September 2 from the Covelli Centre in Yougstown, Ohio, and will air live on the Versus network.
Headlining the card will be a WEC lightweight championship bout pitting Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone up against Ben Henderson. The interim championship was recently put into place while current champion Jamie Varner is given more time to recuperate from nagging injuries.

Hopefully Cerrone has improved his takedown defense since his fight with Varner. That was a big hole in his game in that fight, anyway.

Looking forward to this card, i know I like Cerrone, but don’t know if he’s really got what it takes to headline a card yet. Should be a great fight.
Page/Tamura could turn out to be a real good real quick fight, or a brawl.
Same with Tapia/Wineland.
and it will be good to see Assuncao fighting!
Probably won’t get this live in Canada though, not big enough names for TSN to highlight this card.

Some exciting matchups there. I think Tapia v Wineland is fight of the night. Both of those guys come to brang and put on some exciting fights. Man I LOVE the WEC! These little guys sure know how to put on a show.
