UFC 101 will take place this evening, Saturday, August 8 from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The event is set to feature a lightweight championship main event between B.J. Penn and Kenny Florian, and a light-heavyweight contest between Forrest Griffin and Anderson Silva.

Well, I’m still waiting to hear back from Chevron if they are going to order it for us. They spend almost 2 million dollars a day out here.

I would love to see Forrest pull it off but don’t see how he can. Leg kicks? NO. Remember what happened when Irvin tried one? Remember what happened to Forrest last time he tried one? Boxing? NO. Silva is much quicker and more accurate. Ground game? Forrests ground n pound is nothing special and when on his back, his gaurd is way to loose. My prediction, will be standing, raining down punches with Forrests back on the canvas. TKO round 2. PS…because of the odds I bet $50 on Griffin
Call me crazy, but I notice odd things, symbols, etc.I have a feeling Forrest is gonna knock those glasses Anderson wore to the weigh-ins clean off his face yesterday. Crazy, I know, just a feeling I have. I love both fighters and wish they could both win, but my intuition is telling me…..
I wouldn’t be surprised.. Lately, upsets and/or shocking endings seem to be the reoccurring theme.. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that KenFlo and Forrest both won by brutal knockout (well, maybe just a little).. Still, I HAVE to pick BJ and Spider..
