Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun-Kim Expected For UFC 105

Dan HardyA rumored welterweight match up between Dan Hardy and Dong Hyun Kim, are in the discussion stages for UFC 105.

According to a recent report from the Fighters Only Magazine official website, the Korean fighter has verbally accepted the match up.

Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy (22-6), is 3-0 in the UFC with wins over Akihiro Gono, Rory Markham, and most-recently, Marcus Davis.

Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim (12-0-1) has put together Octagon victories over Jason Tan and Matt Brown before suffering a split decision loss to Karo Parisyan. A defeat that was then changed to a no contest after Parisyan tested positive for banned painkillers.

UFC 105 is expected to air in November from Manchester England, with a rumored main event headlined by BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez, for the lightweight title.

    this should be an entertaining bout. this will be a good test for both fighters I’m thinking hardy wins by KO/TKO.

    Hardy’s legit, no doubt. Hyun-Kim’s got some serious striking too though. This fight is gonna be exciting as all hell

    Definitely a good matchup between two good prospects. Hyun-Kim is a good fighter but i think he’s gonna be up against it facing Hardy in England. I’d look for Hardy to take a decision.

    I’m thinking the stun gun will pull this one off. I really like both fighters, but I just have a feeling he’ll eke out a decision. Is is just me or does Hardy look like a small welterweight? Looks like he could easily drop to 155. Just a thought.

    However, I also thought it was one of the most boring fights Ive ever seen.

    This will be a fight of the night candidate for sure and I for one would like to see it go the distance with both guy going non stop ala griffin/bonnar or sanchez/guida.

    Well see if Hardys td defense has gotten any better since the Yoshida fight.
