This is pretty bad. Swick wouldve made a better opponent for GSP than either of these guys IMO. The ww title picture is pretty ahrd just because GSP has beatin all the worthy contenders(Fitch, Koscheck, Alves..). And the guys with the most potential(Johnson, Hendrix,) still are too many fights away.

Should be a pretty good fight with Daley and Kampmann but it does kind of take the fights meaning in the WW division down a notch. Maybe this is a good thing though. Maybe GSP fights the winner of Daley and Kampmann and then after that fight the winner gets to fight Swick. Now instead of only having 1 contender the UFC is left with two.

Worse things have happened. I wanted to see the fight but I don’t think either fighter could have even come close to taking out GSP.

It sucks for Martin pretty bad too, because now he only has something to lose, not to win. If he beats Paul, then noone cares, but if he loses he’s back down the ladder.

well shit. that sucks, I’m guessin this will not still be a number one contender match anymore? which would suck for kampmann because I think he deserves a shot. I do like what I’ve seen from paul daley in the MFC and cage rage though. yeah come to think of it this should be quite the entertaining matchup.

Hope he can pull out a win here.. It’s a tough first fight in the UFC, but I think he can take home the victory..
