I agree with hindsight. That makes perfect sense. Why should he be able to come back after so many months off to think he’s going to get a shot at the title wheneverone else has to work for it.

well then the ufc should say fuck rampages title shot. I’m all for fighters taking other career options, i think its fantastic that they can now make some money that doesnt involvo putting yourself through intense pain etc. but if rampage cant take the fight, fuck it, rashad vs Thiago Silva, Luis Cane vs someone who deserves a contender fight for the next title shot. nothing nees to be put on hold. Rampage starts at the bottom when he decides to come back. fuck it

it looks like you don’t know sh*t aside from what Wikipedia tells you

you have to look at the fights it self

against Brock he was winning the fight and brock was winded in the first round and with big as cut above his eye.

Then with Nog he had what many are calling the fight of the year

and now with him dropping to 205 i could see finally figuring out Machida

next time don’t just judge by to outcome of the fight but by the actual fight itself.

Maybe Jailpage just has some extremely high legal fees to pay. Costs a bunch to get out of felony charges, and theres this ladys lawsuit over the unborn child to consider. Personally, I lost all respect after he lost his precious belt and went bugshit over it. He should be in jail for his motorized “RAMPAGE”, and had his license revoked.

I guess Rampage is just looking out for himself. The UFC checks wont come in forever. Maybe he sees how Chuck had such a quick fall from grace and wants to make sure he has something lined up for when it is his turn to hang em up.

Cung Le is okay I suppose.. same for Huerta.. because they’re doing it in their free time..

But Rampage KNEW that this fight was going to happen.. he knew WHEN it was going to happen.. and he knew this was a HUGE fight.. now it’s postponed, and could potentially not happen at all..

Ridiculous.. Absolutely ridiculous..

while that is true that fighters have kids to take care of and so on. This had nothing to do with the need to support his kids. He told dana white that he wanted to take the role because he watched the show with his dad. While i understand that he felt their was sentimental value to the part he has to remember what his REAL JOB is which is bashing heads in and not putting blush on for the camera. I’d rather see brett rodgers play mr. t before rampage.

Let’s not be too critical of San Quinton:
He has raised awareness for (as Dana said) Binge Drinking Energy Drink Related “Illness”. You will notice how many fewer athletes drive down the sidewalk in their ridiculously compensative four wheel drive trucks with their picture emblazoned on the side. Seriously, name one time this has happened since San Quinton “raised our awareness”.
- He has elevated smack talk without back up to a new level. Think of all the San Quinton wannabes you and I will be able to experience now that you can talk a freighters’ worth of crap without backing it up. The trickle down on this will be amazing.
- He has shown how to be completely disloyal to the Fertittas (the ones who bailed his sorry ass out of the Klink) and still appeal to his fanbase as some kind of victim. Abusive husbands wish for this kind of play.
- Redefines over-rated. Taking a page from Cung Le, he maintains his place on a list of Top Ten fighters – get this – while playing “Dress Up and Pretend”. My three year old is impressed with this. And my three year old actually fights. Ask his brother.

Well played, Quinton. You’re living the American dream. Living without consequence for the most inexcusable behavior, hiding behind an “illness”, talking trash, never backing it up AND – BONUS! – growing your Kool Aid drinking fanbase.
