Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante injured, out of DREAM 11

JZ CavalcantePreviously expected to take part in a lightweight match-up with Japanese veteran Daisuke Nakamura during DREAM 11, Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante has recently suffered an injury during training and will not be able to compete.

Apparently Cavalcante seems to have twisted his knee during wrestling practice according to a recent report from Tatame.com.

No news is immediately available as to whether or not a replacement opponent will be tracked down for Nakamura.

DREAM 11 is set for October 6 and will feature the second round of the “Super Hulk” Grand Prix, and the final round of the DREAM Featherweight Grand Prix.

  2. Damn. It seems like its been a rough ride for JZ lately. He came out of the gate on fire just blowing through everyone and then he kinda hit a dead end. Hopefully he can get healthy and back in the spotlight because he has a ton fo talent.
